Where It Began
Abastel was founded in 2019 in Delhi with one conviction: that Indian businesses could deliver world-class quality at Indian prices — without compromise.
We began as a trader of telecom and fiber optic products for FTTX and CATV networks — learning the market from the inside and earning the trust of customers across India. In 2021 we made the leap from trading to manufacturing, opening our first injection moulding factory in Delhi. Our founders — technically fertile minds with hands-on experience — hired for creativity over credentials, and that instinct still shapes every hire we make and every product we ship.

2019
Abastel began in 2019 as a trader of telecom and fiber optic products — building the customer relationships and market knowledge that everything since has been built on.
2021
Opened our first factory dedicated to injection moulding — the leap from trading products to manufacturing them in-house.
2022
Broadened our range with new product lines, growing the catalogue we could design, mould, and deliver ourselves.
2023
Scaled up the factory and launched polymer production — manufacturing plastic granules and recycled materials as a vertical of their own.
2024
Moved into packaging, adding industrial and consumer packaging solutions to our manufacturing ecosystem.
2025
Entered three new frontiers at once — high-precision aerospace components, AI, and software — our most ambitious chapter yet.
